Experience Chehalis hosts the annual summer celebration, ChehalisFest, each year on the last Saturday of July.  This event offers activities for kids and families, car fanatics and folks of all ages throughout the day.  Downtown Chehalis will be buzzing with summer fun!  Shops and boutiques will offer incredible discounts and sidewalk sales, enjoy wine tasting, a car show, vendor fair and more. The activities kick off with the annual blueberry pancake breakfast at the Lewis County Historical Museum from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.  Near the intersection of Prindle Street and Chehalis Avenue experience the Kids Zone with games, face painting, balloon fun, and more!  Browse Gemini Event’s ChehalisFest Vendor Fair where 80+ vendors will offer unique and fun items, local goods, art and more. Garbe’s is sponsoring the annual ChehalisFest Car Show.  Early registration is at 7 a.m. and the car show kicks off at 9 a.m.  Awards will be announced at 3 p.m.  A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Chehalis and the Veterans Memorial Museum. Listen to live music, performing near the car show.  Enjoy a cool beverage while you listen to tunes at Garbe’s beer garden from on Prindle Street. And we’ve got games to play!  Join the family Scavenger Hunt and seek out the outdoor locations throughout Chehalis, and with each location visited, you’ll earn an entry into a drawing for $200 in local gift cards!  The game is free to play and it’s all accomplished by scanning QR codes with your mobile phone.  (Hint: start the hunt at the mural next to Market Street Bakery).
