The 2022 City of Chehalis “FREE” Music in the Park series kicks off this Friday night at Recreation Park. This is the 1st of 3 shows on 3 consecutive Friday nights.
Week #1 is our Country night, and we begin with a huge Double-Headliner show with national artists Michelle Wright followed by Ty Herndon. Both have sold millions of albums and are multiple award winners. The show on Friday night will be an acoustic performance for both performers.
Michelle Wright is most known for her songs “Take it like a Man”. “He would be 16 and “New Kind of Love.” Ty Herndon has 3 #1 hits including “What Mattered Most”, “Living in a Moment” and “It must be Love” plus 17 other charted songs.
Week #2 is our Classic Rock, Funk and R&B night with Randy Linder opening, a long-time performer known for his CCR tribute band, followed by Kalimba “The Spirit of Earth, Wind and Fire”. Kalimba will be the largest band ever on our stage with 10+ musicians including a horn section and will play of the EWF biggest hits including “September”.
Week #3 is the Marc Broussard Band from Louisiana, and they play “Bayou Soul” a mix of Soul, Blues, Rock and Pop. Broussard has nearly 200 million You Tube views and is off on a European tour literally 2 weeks after our show. He is the most expensive band we’ve ever booked.
His cover of “Cry to Me” is closing in on 40 million views alone. How we got this type of talent to play in a city part at a “free” event is crazy.

Cost: FREE but there are no chairs, bring your own
