Utility boxes get a makeover!
Three local artists have taken paint to four of our city utility boxes beautifying them with seasonal and Chehalis-centric themes. Our thanks to our talented local artists Irisa Kennedy, Thomas Sutley and Emily von Flotow. The painted utility boxes are located at 13th Street and Market Boulevard, State Avenue and Chamber of Commerce Way, State Avenue and Main Street, and Market Boulevard and 6th Street.
The goal of the project was to bring original art and personality to standard utility boxes; making art a part of everyone’s daily life and making Chehalis a more beautiful – and colorful – place to be.
