Chehalis WA. – The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad invites friends and families to celebrate spring and the Easter season on April 3, with an excursion through the Chehalis River Valley. Each train ride will be followed by an Easter Egg Hunt. Candy filled eggs will be hidden in the field at the depot while you enjoy your ride. Covered and open-air cars will provide seating for the excited kids and their families. Age groups for Easter Egg hunt are: up to 3 years, 4-7 years and ages 8-12. Bring your own baskets. Cost is $16 per person. Children 3 and under are free for the ride and egg hunt. General reserved admission is required as space is limited to 50% due to COVID19 restrictions. Seating is on a first come first served basis.
The Easter Eggspress excursions are set for Saturday, April 3 at 11am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm and 3:30pm. Reservations (general seating) must be made online prior to the event at SteamTrainRide.com. Rain or Shine!
This ride on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad is a family fun ½ hour journey. The excursion through the Chehalis River Valley features coaches from the 1920’s and provides both indoor and outside seating. The trains are unheated, so dress appropriately. The train ride departs from the Depot located in Chehalis at 1101 SW Sylvenus Street, across from the Veteran’s Memorial Museum. Please arrive ½ prior to boarding. Free parking is available.
