The Chehalis Renaissance Plan

The Plan:

The Renaissance Plan was approved by the Chehalis City Council in 2009, following a two-year development period with input from numerous community leaders and interested citizens. This multi-year, citywide master plan includes projects and initiatives focused on community building, economic development, quality design, traffic & parking, and downtown development.

The Chehalis Community Renaissance Team (CCRT) is charged with implementing the Renaissance Plan.

Our Goals:

• Make the Chehalis area a more attractive place in which to live and raise a family.
• Enhance job opportunities and the involvement of youth, so more high school and college graduates choose to live in the area.
• Increase tourism to support local retailers, hotels and restaurants.
• Increase retail business to enhance local shopping.
