All Aboard for a 70’s Summer Night

70s Theme Dinner & Train Ride – August 9, 4:00pm – 9:00pm

Remember the fashion of the 70s? Bell-bottoms, fringe, vests, and tie-dye prints were all the rage. Join the fun and dress up in your hippie or disco costume. You might win a prize for best costume of the night. The festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. as you gather under our event tent for a casual cocktail hour. A full bar with signature cocktails, beer, and wine is offered for purchase.

Our train ride departs at 5:00 p.m., when you step aboard a vintage train, evoking the golden age of rail travel. Choose your inside or outside seats, both of which offer panoramic views of rolling countryside and river views. Bar service is provided during the excursion.

The train returns at 6:30 p.m. Under the tent, we’re serving up a hearty, home-style meal with all the good vibes. Catering provided by Joy’s Once Upon a Thyme. Following dinner, relax on the grassy area and enjoy live music by the Rock City Band and some fun old-fashioned games. The evening festivities conclude at 9:00 p.m.

For $79 per person, you can support the Chehalis Centralia Historic Passenger Renovation Project while you get to have the adventure of a scenic train ride through one of the most beautiful areas, a delicious dinner, and an evening of fun and relaxation—everything you need for a perfect summer evening. Net proceeds will be used to fund the Passenger Car #603 project this summer.

The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad is a historic non-profit railroad dedicated to preserving the rich railway history of the Pacific Northwest.
