In 2024, our Block Captain Program was launched to keep communication strong between Experience Chehalis and our business community. Block captains are liaisons between businesses and Experience Chehalis. This line of communication serves not only as a delivery tool for Experience Chehalis but also allows businesses to share feedback and thoughts.  

Our team of thirteen volunteer block captains visit downtown businesses to share information and news every two months, ensuring businesses and property owners are aware of promotion opportunities, information on community events, Experience Chehalis projects, and new programs to build our community.  

Business owners can communicate any requests or concerns to block captains, who will then bring them to Experience Chehalis. Block captains also collect information on business promotions and activities and gather feedback and input.
