Downtown Chehalis will come alive on Saturday, July 25, 2026 as Experience Chehalis presents ChehalisFest, a summer celebration filled with classic cars, shopping, live music, family activities, local vendors, and hometown fun.
The day begins with the popular Blueberry Pancake Breakfast at the Lewis County Historical Museum from 8:00–11:00 a.m., providing the perfect start before heading downtown to enjoy everything ChehalisFest has to offer.
Families will find plenty to enjoy in the Kids Zone at Prindle Street and Chehalis Avenue, featuring games, face painting, balloon creations, and a new addition this year—mini golf! Just down the street, visitors can explore the City of Chehalis Touch-a-Truck display, where kids of all ages can get an up-close look at the Hook & Ladder fire truck and other city vehicles.
More than seventy vendors will fill downtown streets during the Gemini Events ChehalisFest Vendor Fair, offering handcrafted goods, artwork, local products, boutique shopping, and unique treasures. A variety of food trucks will also be on hand throughout the day, serving something for every appetite.
Car enthusiasts will not want to miss the ChehalisFest Car Show, sponsored by Experience Chehalis. Vehicle check-in begins at 7:00 a.m., with the show opening to the public at 9:00 a.m. Awards will be presented at 3:00 p.m., and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Veterans Memorial Museum and Experience Chehalis.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy live music on Prindle Street from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., creating the perfect backdrop for exploring downtown, shopping local, or simply relaxing with friends and family.
Also returning is the popular ChehalisFest Scavenger Hunt, encouraging festivalgoers to visit participating downtown businesses while discovering hidden gems along the way. Every completed stop earns participants an entry into a drawing for $200 in local gift cards, with many businesses also offering exclusive specials, discounts, and giveaways.
Downtown businesses will join in the celebration with sidewalk sales, special promotions, pop-up activities, and unique shopping experiences throughout the day, making ChehalisFest the perfect opportunity to experience everything historic downtown Chehalis has to offer.
