Comedians, Debbie Wooten and Amanda Arnold will be at Riverside Golf Club on March 9th! Doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 8 p.m.
About Debbie: Debbie was born in South Chicago with spina bifida and developed polio as an infant. Isolated by color and disability, Debbie met the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. when she was eight years old and that experience changed her life. Debbie uses her life struggles and triumphs in her comedic and inspirational presentation in a way that “captivates the room with charm, love, and knowledge”.
Debbie Wooten has grown into a seasoned veteran of comedy by taking all the challenges of life (including five kids and two husbands) to mold her life’s journey into a healing, heartfelt and hilarious act. Her nightclub act of adult stand-up is ageless and colorless because it’s real.
Her list of credits include Nick-at-night Funniest in America, winner of Portland’s international comedy competition, “America’s Got Talent”, Bet “comics from A to X” show, the reality show “Can you trust me”, and co-starred in the movie ‘The Pony Man” . She is also an international motivational speaker.
About Amanda: Amanda Arnold is a Portland-based stand up comic. As soon as Amanda gets on stage you’re ready to laugh. This self-proclaimed “chubby not ugly” joke slinger delivers the funny from the very start. Amanda’s fast paced, extremely funny comedic style won her the title of Willamette Valley’s Funniest person. Amanda did stand up comedy for the first time when she was 8 years old! Yes! You read that correctly! It’s no wonder you get a feeling when watching her that some people are just born funny.
