Chehalis, WA – Lewis County Public Health & Social Services (LCPHSS) Director J.P. Anderson announced the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) has confirmed Lewis County’s application to move to Safe Start Phase 3 is under review.

“DOH has contacted us to seek new information in addition to what was provided in our application,” Anderson said. “We are providing that to DOH today. They said our application review would resume late this afternoon.”

Anderson said DOH provided no estimate of when the review would be completed.
