Experience Chehalis invites the community to take part in a heartwarming new tradition now entering its second year, Downtown Chehalis Love Notes.

Love Notes is all about sharing kindness and appreciation with the businesses, organizations, and people who make downtown Chehalis such a special place. Throughout the month, community members are encouraged to write a short note, poem, or even create a drawing for their favorite downtown shop, employee, or organization. It’s a simple gesture with a big impact.

Participating is easy! Stop by any of the participating downtown businesses, pick up a Love Note, and take a moment to share why you love downtown Chehalis. When you’re finished, drop your note into one of the red Love Note collection boxes located at participating locations. Throughout February, businesses will proudly display these notes in their windows—turning downtown into a colorful, heartfelt celebration of gratitude and community connection.
