The Port of Chehalis invites the public to commemorate the completion of the 105 McBride Court Project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 105 McBride Ct, Chehalis. The dedication will take place on January 3rd , 2020 at 12:15pm.

The project was intended to construct several affordable, flexible spaces suitable for small businesses and startups in the industrial, manufacturing, technology, and value-added agriculture industries. Work on the site started in 2018, and construction of the building began in September of 2019. The entire project cost $1,800,000 to complete and was funded by the Port of Chehalis, the Lewis County .09 Distressed County Fund and the TransAlta Economic & Community Development Board.

Port CEO Randy Mueller explained the need for the project: “For years, the port has operated with a 100% occupancy rate and no vacant space. The downside to that success has been having to turn away potential new tenants looking to locate their businesses in the Chehalis Industrial Park. With this building we now have a supply of new, modern spaces sized for small businesses at very attractive lease rates designed to boost small companies and startups.”

Half of the spaces in the building have already been preleased, some spaces are still available. Persons interested in leasing space in the new building should contact the port as soon as possible.
