Chehalis, WA – Tickets are now on sale for friends, neighbors, and families on Chehalis-Centralia Railroad’s 2019 Pumpkin Train. Children, as well as adults are encouraged to wear costumes and help create a fun filled Halloween atmosphere. The Chehalis Valley train excursions are Saturday at 11:00am and 1:00pm and 3:00pm. On Sunday the 27th the rides are at 11:00pm and 1:00pm. All excursions are approximately 30 minutes long. Goody bags of treats and Pumpkins, provided by WillyTee’s Pumpkin Patch, are ready for eager children under age 15. Age groups will gather in the nearby railyard after each train ride. The cost is $15 per person for the ride, pumpkin and goody bag, with children 2 and under free.
Reserve your tickets in advance to ensure seating at SteamTrainRide.com. Tickets are general admission so come early to have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. A limited number of walk up tickets are available for each ride with tickets available in the Depot. We suggest coming ½ prior to boarding as the train leave the station promptly at the top of the hour! Snacks and Concessions are available in the Depot prior to departure.
Please note: the train cars are not heated so dress appropriately. Due to the restoration work on the steam locomotive, the Pumpkin Train will be pulled by our #6 Diesel locomotive.
