The City of Chehalis, in partnership with Experience Chehalis, will host a free residential cleanup event on Saturday, May 20th, and Sunday, May 21st. Dumpsters will be set up in four locations for Chehalis city residents to dispose of household refuse. These drop-off sites will be staffed from 9 am – 6 pm by Experience Chehalis volunteers.
Dumpsters will be placed at the following locations:
- Chehalis Eagles parking lot
- 1993 S Market Blvd.
- Stan Hedwall Park
- 1501 Rice Rd.
- The former Cascade School parking lot
- SW 3rd St and SW Cascade Ave.
- Near the Chehalis Fire Station on State Ave.
- 1300 Block of State Ave.
The city will also provide free organic waste disposal at Stan Hedwall Park on May 20th only.
Items that will not be accepted include appliances, tires, paint, batteries, or chemicals of any kind. For more
information on disposing of these items, please contact Lewis County Solid Waste. The dumpsters have limited
capacity so when a dumpster is full, that location will be closed for the remainder of the event.
This event is open to City of Chehalis residents only and proof of residence may be required.
