​The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad is Going Green with shamrocks on March 14 and 15. Two new events are being offered this year as the Railroad encourages you to enjoy a 2-hour excursion in the vintage 1920s dining car through the Chehalis River Valley to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. 

The 5:00 pm event on both Saturday, March 14 and Sunday March 15, begins with some fun and games, and of course Green Beer! You will be ushered to your table by our event hostesses where you will then enjoy a four-course dinner. As Irish tradition dictates, you can select from your choice of Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irish Stew in a Bread Bowl, or Roast Chicken and Irish Potatoes, or a Pasta vegetarian option. You will place your order when you make the reservations online. The 2 hour round trip excursion is sure to bring out the Irish in you, so wear your green to keep the Leprechauns away. Cost is $65 for Adults and $35 for Children 3-13 years old.

A Shamrock Family Friendly Train excursions is set for Sunday afternoon March 15 at 1:00pm, Kids and adults are encourage to dress up to win a prize for the best “Green Gear.”  There will be games and maybe a Leprechaun or two may appear! Refreshments are served, and of course they’ll be Green too! Cost is $20 per person.

The train departs the Chehalis Centralia Train Depot, 1101 SW Sylvenus Street Chehalis WA 98532 Reservations must be made 4 days prior to the departure date.
