Summer Fun at ChehalisFest on July 30th

Experience Chehalis welcomes you downtown for a summer celebration full of sunshine and fun on July 30.  This annual festival offers activities for kids and families, car fanatics, and folks of all ages throughout the day.  Attendees can wander the ChehalisFest Car Show, listen to live bands, browse the vendor fair, enjoy kids’ activities, and find special sales and events at local shops and boutiques.  Downtown Chehalis will be buzzing with summer fun!

There will be games to play!  Join the Family Scavenger Hunt and seek out the outdoor locations throughout Chehalis, and with each location visited, you’ll earn an entry into a drawing for $300 in local gift cards!  Another option for shoppers all week long is the Shop Chehalis Gift Card Giveaway.  Shop participating downtown businesses and with each visit, the cashier will present a QR code.  With each shop stop, you’ll earn an entry into yet another drawing for $300 in local gift cards.  Join in the hunt, and the more codes you scan, the better your odds to win!

ChehalisFest fun kicks off with the annual blueberry pancake breakfast at the Lewis County Historical Museum from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.  Near the intersection of Prindle Street and Chehalis Avenue experience the Kids Zone with games, face painting, balloon fun, and more!  Browse Gemini Event’s ChehalisFest Vendor Fair where 70+ vendors will offer unique and fun items, local goods, art, and more.

Garbe’s is sponsoring the annual ChehalisFest Car Show.  Early registration is at 7 a.m. and the car show kicks off at 9 a.m.  Awards will be announced at 3 p.m.  A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Chehalis and the Veterans Memorial Museum. Listen to live music near the car show from 10 a.m. – 6  p.m.  The tunes move inside Garbe’s for more fun from 9 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.  Enjoy a cool beverage while you listen to music at Garbe’s beer garden from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Prindle Street.
