The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad invites friends, families, and rail fans to enjoy weekend excursions beginning April 6 through September 29. After a two-year hiatus, the popular train rides will resume service this year. Throughout the spring and summer, trains will depart the Chehalis Train Depot at 11:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 5:00 pm each Saturday and Sunday. Events are planned for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Special events include regular Dinner and Murder Mystery Dinners, Escape Room Trains, the Wizard Express, and Pumpkin Trains. Tickets are on sale now at SteamTrainRide.com. Walk-ups are welcome. THE POLAR EXPRESStm tickets will be on sale on September 1, 2024, with rides beginning on November 9.
Private Charters, Group Tours, and School Day field trips are offered for groups of up to 200. A ride on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad is a pleasant, scenic and relaxing 2-hour journey back into history. Ride the historic train through the Chehalis River Valley. Coaches from the 1920’s provide indoor and outside seating. The train departs from the railroad depot located in Chehalis at 1101 SW Sylvenus Street, across from the Veterans Memorial Museum. Take exit 77, off I-5 midway between Seattle and Portland.
