Sept. 26, 2022 (Chehalis, Wash.)WSECU members in the Chehalis/Centralia area can enjoy a larger, more feature-rich space when it comes to visiting their local branch.

On Sept. 26, the credit union’s Chehalis branch moved to its new location at 1725 NW Louisiana Ave., just off of I-5 and across from Home Depot. The new location brings a larger footprint and more features to better serve members.

“In addition to the brand new building and expanded features, we’re excited about the convenience of the new location,” said Stephanie Rhodes, Chehalis Branch Manager. “Our new space is closer to the highway, with more amenities and other businesses close by.”

The new 4,500 square foot branch features a tall ceiling with exposed wood deck and large windows to bring in natural light. It also provides an improved experience for members with new features including:

  • Four teller “pods,” which allow for both simple transactions or more complex visits to be supported all in one place
  • Two drive-thru lanes
  • Drive-up night depository
  • Walk-up ATM and drive-up ATMs

The new branch building will also feature safe deposit boxes, a new addition for branches in the area, which will allow members an additional place to keep valuables secure.

Branch hours will be 9 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday and 9:30 am-2 pm on Saturday.

The building’s construction partners include architects Thomas Architecture Studios of Olympia and general contractor JH Kelly of Longview.

“We hope our members see this move as our way of reinforcing our longstanding commitment to this community,” Rhodes said. “We’ve been in Lewis County for 38 years and plan to be here for many more supporting our members and many great nonprofit organizations in the area.”
